PRICING LOW-DOWN
You are provided with detailed and up-to-date information about our payment and refund processes during the online booking steps. However, the following can help you make an informed decision about creating an account with us.
Prices
Our website shows prices for our services. This can be your rough guide for determining a holiday budget.
Quotes
Because of many variables, a quote from our booking portal provides a more accurate holiday tally. You can play with our booking portal (create an account first) and submit a booking request asking for a quote. This quote (email) is valid for seven days whilst you ponder your finances. It provides clear instructions for turning the booking into a well-earned vacation.
- Variables can include discounts (for families), lengthy stays (for singles), or pensioners.
- Premiums can include peak period charges (including holidays and Friday/Saturday nights), early arrival appointments, late departures, breakfasts, medications, photographs and more.
New Customers
All new customers automatically receive a quote (explaining further fun factoids) for their first boarding experience. And, yes, there are strict rules for newbies, so we invite you to click the link to learn about them.
Payments – In Full (Credit Card)
Once we have reviewed and approved your booking request, we will fully charge your stored card and send a confirmation email.
Yes, customers must store a credit card on their account. This might make you anxiously perspire, but it simplifies our booking processes. Our preferred payment processor (STRIPE) has an outstanding reputation, and we place faith in their highly encrypted method of storing your oh-so-precious data.
We pass on the credit card fees to you (soz!). The cost is 2.9% + $0.30, but it can change like a chameleon.
Payments – In Full – Bank Transfer
The emailed quote option provides our banking details if you wish to pay via bank transfer (to save on card fees). Go you, with that extra latte! And, you won’t find our bank details on this website (just sayin’).
Deposits?
Once upon a time, we fluffed about (like a Pomeranian) with deposits. However, while cute, it is a cumbersome process, so nowadays everything is paid upfront when booking. Remember, we will review and approve your request before accepting any monies, so don’t be scared to hit the submit button at the end.
What if…
If, for some reason, we cannot accept your booking, we will let you know.
If your booking is for a lengthy period or a large sum, we can negotiate a payment arrangement. (However, caveats regarding the festive season and Easter are in place and explained during the booking process.)
Refunds
Refund policies change occasionally and are outlined during the booking process. The basic rules are:
- If you cancel with sufficient warning, monies are held as a credit for the next visit.
- If you shorten your stay with little warning, you still pay for the bed.
- If you cancel with insufficient warning, we will retain an inconvenience fee of $100 and apply the balance for future use.
- Requested refunds attract a refund fee of $25 and are paid by bank transfer.
- Credits held are visible on your home screen.
NON-PAYMENT?
By law, we can keep your pet until payment is made in full.
βI understand that according to the Domestic Animals Act 1994 No. 81 of 1994 – Part 5 – Boarding of Dogs and Cats (Page 149) – that Nathalia Boarding Kennels & Cattery can keep my pet in lieu of sums owing.β
Victorian Legislation.
FILL IN YOUR TIME INSTEAD:
If you get caught out with our closure times (noon to 2 pm), then we suggest that Nathalia is a neat little town to explore:
- Casual Step – for fab gifts and fashion.
- Three Belles Collective (north of the bridge) or Milkin’ It (near the Water Tower) – for excellent coffee & delectable nibbles.
- Brereton’s Bakery – for awesome pies and pastries (main street Nathalia)
- The Big Strawberry at Koonoomoo is worth a visit.
- Cactus Country at Strathmerton is AMAZING!
