Boarding Prices – Dogs

Boarding prices for dogs are charged per night and include only the evening meal. Other variables will impact the final cost (see below).

We highly recommend playing with our booking portal so that you can see the VIP items you can choose, however, you can expect to pay extra for:

Friday and Saturday night – which covers wages on a Saturday & Sunday (@$7)

Ranking System

To help our Purple People manage yards and packs safely and consistently, we have a ranking system for all dogs, regardless of size or breed. Your dog’s rank is determined in-house, which enables us to cap the number of dogs and set the appropriate boarding rate. Most dogs are ranked between 1 and 3. If your dog is ranked 4 or 5, we will inform you of the reason for the classification.

Dogs ranked 4 or 5 have higher boarding rates as they require more resources. Additionally, these dogs have a capacity limit. Certain breeds are also subject to limitations.

Rank 1: Easy to manage
Rank 2: Easy to manage, but with very minor quirks
Rank 3: Manageable, but with a few moderate quirks
Rank 4: High maintenance. These dogs are lovable but can let their excitement interfere with good decision-making, which may lead to inappropriate behaviours. They require extra management and specific yard placement.
Rank 5: Not compatible with other dogs. We rarely accept dogs of this rank, and they must have a private yard (often with empty adjacent yards). Please note that private yards are not available during peak periods.

Boarding Prices – Cats

Boarding prices for cats are based on room type and the number of kitties (from the same family) holidaying together. Prices are per calendar day. One-night stays are charged per calendar day (the day of arrival and the day of departure).

Price includes kibble to graze on all day and wet food for breakfast. Prices do not include administering medications (see below). Young cats are fed wet food twice a day. An extra fee (@$5) applies if you want another portion of wet food provided to an adult cat during the afternoon.

Multiple cats sharing room a must have the same dietary requirements.

Medications

Administering medications is a fee-for-service, as it takes our purple people extra time to prepare and distribute them. This applies to cats and dogs.

Pocket Pets?

We no longer offer boarding for Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Birds, Ferrets, Pigs, or Turtles.
