The flexi-train is a pre-paid package designed to suit boarders or daycare regulars. The package consists of ten half-hour training blocks. These blocks can be used for private training sessions, focusing on handling techniques with Heather (minimum of two blocks), or for intensive, targeted training sessions with your dog (one block) when attending NBKC for either daycare or boarding.
Heather will tailor the blocks to suit your individual needs. Suggested focus areas include:
- Developing clear communication between you and your dog
- Handler focus and engagement for easily distracted dogs
- Strengthening the bond through play, or what motivates your dog.
- Improving leash skills during walks
- Threshold manners: waiting at doorways, gateways, and remaining in the car.
- General obedience: sit, drop/lay down, and place commands
- Barrier frustration on lead (barking, lunging, overexcitement toward people, dogs, or other triggers)
- Crate training
- Motivated recalls, even in distracting environments.
- Rewarding calm behaviour in stimulating situations
- Other behaviour issues
Cost
