Creating a booking for the first time in our ProPet portal can take time, however, we simply need every scrap of data that you provide – as this helps us to make your pet’s boarding experience paw-sitively PURR-FECT!

Our booking system is designed to stop bookings based on certain criteria – in the following table we highlight the ‘blockers’, the reason why, & steps that you can take to (possibly) correct the problem.

Possible ‘Blocker’Reason WhySteps to correct
Vaccination (1) UploadUnvaccinated pets cannot visit or stay – this is a legal requirement for boarding kennels.Vaccinations must be uploaded to your online account (see file types at the end of this table).
If you do NOT have your information handy, for whatever reason, please watch the YouTube clip or read the workaround below.
Vaccination (2) Proof NAMEDOur regulations stipulate that the FULL name of the pet must show on documents provided to us.Please write the full name of your pet on the proof (if it doesn’t show already) before uploading to your account. Otherwise we will ask you to re-do.
Vaccination (3) EXPIRY DATEWe need the expiry date – this is always 12 months from the date of the vaccination (eg. if vaccination was administered on 1/5/2023, then the expiry is 1/5/2024) Click on the date icon to change the date after uploading the document. Watch YouTube clip below.
Format: Year, Month, Date
Vaccination (4) VALIDATIONIf you have followed the steps above – you can proceed with a booking request. (ie. we do NOT need to validate your proof first)We will validate the vaccination proof when accepting the booking.
Credit CardsLike a human resort, we require your card details to process a non-refundable deposit. You cannot submit a booking without card details
De-sexingPets over 9 months of age must be desexed. Our system will block the booking. See why on our de-sexing page.
Age-limitsDogs must be older than 16 weeks to board. Our system will block the booking otherwise.
New DogsCannot book during peak times. Our system will block the booking if you choose dates that are during peak times. See the calendar below.
New DogsMust book a minimum 3-night / 4 day stay – during off-peak times. If you select a two night stay, you won’t be able to book. And, yes, this is applicable to ALL new dogs.
DatesThe date format is very specific. In this order: Year + Month + Date
BirthdateIf you inadvertently enter the incorrect birth date (particularly the year) our system may block a booking request.Double-check your data entry.
File Types (for uploading pictures)File Type
*HEIC picture formats will not load onto Propet – only JPEG and PDF. The easiest method is to upload the picture onto your account FROM your phone or iPad.
Avoid air-dropping (transferring) between devices.
Otherwise:
Open the HEIC in preview: File > Export to PDF > save. Or,
Open HEIC in preview: File > Export > Choose JPEG from the drop-down file type.

Uploading your Vaccination Details

This quick YouTube video shows how to upload your pet’s vaccination information.

Vaccination Work-Around

There are numerous reasons that you may not have your pet’s vaccination information handy (for example you might be on holiday, or awaiting a vet appointment to vaccinate your pet).

This is discussed in the YouTube clip, however, you can:

  • Write a note that clearly explains the reason why you currently cannot upload the vaccination,
    • if a vet appointment is scheduled write the Vet name and date of appointment.
  • Upload a photo of this note (in place of the vaccination card)
  • ALTER the due date to 12 months after the appointment date (you can stab at a guess if your paperwork is buried)
  • We can accept your request as PENDING until such time as you upload the correct information.
  • Don’t forget to UPLOAD the proper vaccination card when it is finalised – and remind us to swap your pending booking to accepted.

Alternatively, you might like to call your vet and ask them to email the proof of vaccination to the purple people at info@nathaliaboardingkennels.com.au.

Peak & Off-Peak Calendar

Red dates are PEAK times, and white dates are OFF-PEAK. New dogs must have their first 3 night vacay with us during the WHITE dates.
